Music files are encoded in .opus, since the offer best quality/size ratio at 50 kbps. I recommend using AIMP as a music player.
For the movies/tv, I recommend using VLC, since it also allows to use the subtitle files included in some of the movies.
Books are in .epub format, since I use KOReader on my kindle, however you can convert them into any other format, such as PDF.
